,As a young girl, Diane Charbonneau always loved to write stories for school... adventure stories were her favourite. As a mother, she enjoyed the time she spent at hockey arenas and baseball games cheering on her two sons. Her sons grew up as children do, met wonderful ladies and soon Diane became grandmother to Xavier, Alexie, Maxime, and Camille.
It was on a Saturday afternoon at her son's house while sharing stories with Xavier that she realized her dream of writing a book could come true. She channeled her creative side and wrote her first children's book "Eeko's Splash Landing". Since then, she has been busy with many events, such as book signings, visiting schools and children’s organizations to read excerpts from her books.
Diane continues to provide her young readers with a series of adventures in her second and third books, “Eeko Returns to Earth” and "Eeko and the Nosy Neighbour". These fun and creative stories, with a touch of intrigue, also give her readers a touch of life’s lessons, such as problem solving, teamwork, friendship and anti-bullying.
Diane is family oriented and loves to spend time with her family and friends. She's an avid golfer, and enjoys exploring nature and kayaking near Ottawa, Ontario where she resides.
